Keepers Cottage is a beautifully converted former gamekeeper’s cottage which offers peaceful, luxury accommodation for 4 people. Set in 15 acres of woodland and garden grounds, it offers views of Hadrian’s Wall.
The cottage is situated in Northumberland National Park, 5 miles north of Bardon Mill and 17 miles from Hexham. We are just 5 minutes from the most spectacular section of Hadrian’s Wall.
The accommodation includes ground floor bedroom with luxury 6 ft wide 4 poster bed and en-suite bathroom with roll top bath. The first floor bedroom also has a 6ft wide double bed (can also be arranged as a twin room), also with en-suite bathroom with spa bath and separate shower. A cot and high chair can also be provided.
The open plan kitchen/sitting room has a wood-burning stove within a stone fireplace. The television with digital freeview and DVD can be enjoyed from the luxury of leather sofas.
All fuel, electricity, linen and logs for the fire are included in the price. There is a complimentary welcome pack which includes a bottle of wine, local magazines, flowers etc.

From the A69 follow signs to Once Brewed and Twice Brewed. Cross B6318 Military Road, follow road past Steel Rigg, turn right signed Gibbs Hill then right half a mile along farm lane signed Gallowshieldrigg. Keep right at farm then next left.
From Bardon Mill Station
Bardon Mill Station - 5 miles away (not all trains stop). Haltwhistle Station 8 miles. Hadrian's Wall bus stops at the Once Brewed Visitor Centre 2.5 miles away (summer time only).
