East Farm Cottage

East Farm Cottage is a listed 18thC cottage situated in the picturesque village of Humshaugh on the edge of Northumberland National Park.

The village of Humshaugh is situated five miles from the historic attractive town of Hexham. Humshaugh has its own Post Office/General Store and the local Crown Inn both within 400 yards. The George Hotel, Chesters Roman Fort and the River North Tyne are all within walking distance of the cottage. The best preserved parts of Hadrian's Wall are a short drive away and the Northumbrian Coast and the Cheviot Hills are approximately an hour's drive. There is also a local bus service from Humshaugh to Hexham.

The cottage is heated with night-storage heaters.

Ground Floor: Well-equipped kitchen with a dining area and separate lounge.

First Floor: 2 bedrooms - 1 with twin beds and 1 with a single bed. Bathroom with a 3 piece suite and an electric shower over the bath. A cot and highchair are also available.

Appliances: Electric Cooker, Fridge, Automatic Washing Machine, Dishwasher, Freezer, Microwave, Ironing Board, Iron, Colour Television, Video Recorder, Immersion Heater & Shaver Point. telephone for incoming calls only (public call box 400 yards away in the centre of the village). Bed Linen, towels and electricity are included in the rent.

There is off road parking available to the rear of the property for at least two cars together with garden area.
